The 'investment drought' in the country has come to an end, feels the Finance Minister, Mr P. Chidambaram, at the end of a two-day visit to the country's commercial capital. Making a statement to the media after a series of meetings, the new Finance Minister said, "One very happy development after a prolonged period is that the investment drought has ended. We can now see investments picking up. Bankers, industrialists clearly see a rush in investments in the next ten months."
