The Mathura, Haldia and Gujarat Refineries of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOC) were awarded the first, second prize and the certificate of merit of "the National Energy Conservation Award 1998". The Union Power Minister, Mr P R Kumarmangalam, presented the awards to winners in various categories.
