The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA), a public sector enterprise, has recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Non-Conventional Energy Sources (MNES) for 2000-2001 whereby it will sanction renewable energy and energy efficiency projects having a total loan commitment of Rs. 665 crores.
