A direct fallout of the gross mismanagement of affairs in the Delhi Jal Bords is the intense water crisis that the city is facing. Because of the "organised loot of public money" in this department, the supply and treatment of water has suffered, says a public interest Litigation (PIL)filed by the board's aggrieved employees in the Delhi High Court.Notices have been served to various government departments in response to the PIL filed by the Delhi Municipal Workers' Union on Thursday. The next day of hearing is September 17 when the respondents will have to inform the court about the measures being taken to curb corruption.
