Japanese foreign minister Yoriko Kawaguchi will arrive in India on a two-day visit from 12th August to further strengthen ties between the two countries. Japanese ambassador to India Yasukuni Enoki said "Ms Kawaguchi will hold talks with her Indian counterpart K Natwar Singh on Thursday on specific measures for strengthening the Japan-India Global Partnership.'
