Steel companies Jindal Steel & Power Ltd (JSPL) and Monnet Ispat Ltd on Monday announced investments totalling Rs 7600 crore in separate power and steel projects in Chhattisgarh state. JSPL has earmarked an investment of Rs 6400 crore in various projects over a period of seven years, including a 1000 mw thermal power plant at Raigarh, at an estimated cost of Rs 4,500 crore.
