The Karnataka Government has given in-principle clearance to the 220-MW thermal power project promoted by Euro India Power Canara Ltd rejecting the objections raised by the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd (KPTCL).State Government sources said here that clearance has been given by treating Euro India project an as "extension of the bid route project."
