In what appears to be the beginning of an outcry against the delays in the power sector in Karnataka and a direct fallout of the Deepak Parekh committee report, the Tannir Bhavi Power Corporation on March 2 filed a petition against the state government and the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation. The company is demanding immediate action from the state government bfore its escrow and hypothecation agreement expires on April 1 this year.
