The Planning Commission has fixed the Karnataka's plan size for the year 2003-2004 at Rs 9620 crores. After discussions with Planning Commission Deputy Chairman K C Pant, Chief Minister S M Krishna said on Friday that the State had proposed a plan outlay of Rs 9127 crores. It was enhanced to Rs 9780 crores in the Budget presented on March 21, 2003.
