The Karnataka electricity Board (KEB) is taking up an ambitious project to upgrading the power transmission and distribution network at an estimated cost of Rs 3,000 crore over the next three years. KEB has tied up adequate funding for this programme through power Finance Corporation, Rural Electrification Corporation and Hudco, which is financing in electricity board in transmission sector for the first time in the country.
