The Kerala Cabinet on Wednesday decided to seek a supplementary loan of Rs 528 crorers from the World Bank for the Kerala State Transport Project.The Project originally estimated to cost about Rs 1,500 crores, is facing heavy cost escalation. The bank has given a loan earlier to cover 76 percent of the cost.
