A Rs. 1,100 crore power project proposed to be established in Palakkad district in Kerala is waiting for its fuel linkage to be firmed up before it could earnestly commence land acquisition for the project. The project will initially be dependent on naphtha as its fuel before it switches over to liquified natural gas (LNG) for which it has already signed an MoU with Petronet which is being promoted by four public sector giants in the oil sector near Vypeen Islands.
