Kerala will seek more time from the Centre to frame its response to the proposed Central Electricity Bill which it considers an attack on the federal structure of the Constitution. The Centre has called a meeting of State Power Secretaries on March 11 to elicit the States' response to the Bill which prescribed mandtory dissolution of all State Electricity Boards within six months of its adoption.
