The Kerala Cabinet has approved an annual plan outlay of Rs 6,210 crore for 2006-07. This works out to an increase of nearly 16 per cent or Rs 840 crore over the current annual plan outlay of Rs 5,370 crore. The annual plan, which was cleared by a special meeting of the Cabinet on Saturday, includes externally aided projects of Rs 1,796 crore and State sector schemes of Rs 4,033 crore, said an official spokesman.
