The introduction of new heating oil in South Korea will only give modest respite to the country's ailing refining sector, industry sources said on Tuesday. The new fuel, which has been in use from August 1, was expected to ease refiner's export burden as they can now blend surplus diesel into the heating off and at the same time save on costly kerosene imports during winter.
