Kot Addu Power Company has given 90 days to Wapda to finally discharge its obligations under the various agreements, otherwise termination of the agreement can be made as per terms under the power purchase agreement (PPA). According to the Kapco, it had issued various notices of intent to terminate (NITs) to Wapda over the period from July to September 1999. These have been made in accordance with the terms of power purchase agreement signed by both parties in 1996.
