A Government Order has been issued on Tuesday alloting the prestigious Upper Krishna Hydro Electric Project - comprising a 297-MW dam power house near Almatti dam and cascade scheme below Narayanapur Reservoir of 810 MW - to the state-owned Karnataka Power Corporation Limited.
