The stage is being set for another showdown of sorts between the promoters of 'development' on the one hand and the victims of 'progress' on the other with Karnataka Power Corporation Ltd (KPCL) have decided to start work on what is commonly known in this region as the 'Sarapady project' once the monsoon recedes.
