Govt lists out benefits: Big dams are what the country needs.If India has to feed its population of 164 crore by 2050, high dams are the only answer.This was what Union Water Resources Minister C.P. Thakur had to say to the Press today.He circulated a three-page note which listed the benefits of big dams.
