The denizens of this picturesque headquarters town and the district have been stocially bearing with power cuts for most part of the day with the supply available only in the evening and that too on alternate days. The acute crisis started in this Spring when the 4 mw Stakna hydel power project stopped generation entirely because of "technical problems."
