Drugs for treating cancer will be more effective and less toxic in future and molecular technology is propelling the development of a cancer vaccine, according to researchers. Scientists at a recent American Medical Association (AMA) conference said that new treatments for certain lymphomas were "extremely effective," that gene therapy offered "promosing" results in the fight against cancer and that genetic testing had created scope for cancer prevention.
