Nakhon Nayok-Residents of Ongkharak district of Thailand and environmentalists will petition against construction of a nuclear research reactor tomorrow. The petition will be lodged with district chief Khamron Pariyanon, according to Narong Preedarat of the Thailand Environment Institute. Mr Narong said local people were not against the project but wanted assurances of safety from the authorities.
