Look at poverty in smaller cities

The UN World Food Programme (UNWFP) has estimated that the urban population has increased five-fold in the developing countries over the last three decades. In the next five years, the urban population is likely to double. The question of urban poverty is highly complex. Recommendations are standard, like employment generation in cities and infrastructure improvement. The 74th amendment to the Constitution decentralizing the urban PDS is a ray of hope.
