An elaborate plan, by which the Maharashtra Government would secure import duty concessions to the Dabhol Power company and which in turn could lead to a lower project cost is being contemplated. Dabhol has put up a power utlity on the Konkan coast as a subsidiary of the U.S. based Enron.
