The strike called by transporters in Maharashtra was withdrawn on Thursday following talks between the Maharashtra Truck Tempo Vahatuk Mahasangh and the Chief Minister, Mr. Vilasrao Deshmukh. The Government will file an affidavit within two weeks on providing facilities for conversion of 15-year-old vehicles to CNG or LPG mode.
