Shell International and Cairn Energy Plc joint venture and UNOCAL Corporation have reached an understanding to form a synergy to develop three gas blocks, 5, 7 and 10, in the coastal belt of Khulna and implement an integrated project for developing, transmitting and distributing gas in the western region jointly, according to industry sources in Bangladesh.
