Realising that the private sector alone may not be able to push major bids in India, the Malaysian Government is counting on more Government-to-Government contacts in clinching major infrastructure projects in this country. This was demonstrated by the presence of a 40-member strong delegation from Malaysia led by S Samy Vellu, Minister for Public Works, an Infranet'99, a three-day international conference-cum-exposition on infrastructure development here last week.
