Unable to draw response from the people and industrialists on the issue of the mandatory Rain Water Harvesting, the Central Ground Water Authority (CGWA) is contemplating to extend the deadline of March 31 again. Earlier also, the Authority had once extended the deadline from December 31, 2001. Since the CGWA has been relying totally on the administration of the districts like Gurgaon and Faridabad when it comes to actually implementing the act making Rain Water Harvesting mandatory, the campaign is proving a failure.
