Manila sets leaded-gasoline phase-out plan

Officials from the Philippines department of energy and 21 oil companies signed a pact Tuesday to phase out the use of leaded gasoline in metro Manila starting April 1, the DOE said Wednesday. The DOE said Philippine oil companies now have 60 days to complete their metro Manila service stations's transition to the use of unleaded gasoline.
