The pollution from Mathura Refinery has been much lower than that from refineries in developed countries. The dream of making Mathura Refinery an eco-friendly living monument could be translated into reality if the sustained efforts made since its designing state continue. The latest effort to further reduce the pollution level and improve the quality of its products is on the diesel hydro deselphurisation unit and hydrocracker units.
