A meeting on the wind monitoring programme of the Ministry of Non-conventional Energy Sources (MNES) of Government of India was held in Guwahati city on February 27, a press release said. The meeting, hosted by Assam Science Technology and Environment Council (ASTEC), was presided over by the Mr Ajit Kumar Gupta, advisor ,MNES, Government of India.
