A conference on 'Media, Information Technology and Grassroot Development' will be held in Bangalore on mMay 23 marking the 40 th anniversary celebrations of the Press Institute of India. A seminar themed 'Social and developmental issues arising from attempts to spread IT to rural and remote areas will follow teh conference on May 24.
