The Chiba, Japan-based United Nations Statistical Institute for Asia and the Pacific (UNSIAP) is organising a three-day inception seminar on the UN Millennium Development Goals (MDG. The Union Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation and the Department of Economics and Statistics, Kerala, will be co-sponsors for the programme, said Mr P. Surendran Pillai, Joint Director, Economics and Statistics, Kerala.
