The Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit inaugurated the plenary meeting of the Asian Network of Major Cities (ANMC-21) in the Capital on Wednesday.This is the second conference of ANMC in which the representatives of eleven Asian cities, including Singapore, Delhi, Beijing, Bangkok, Hanoi, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Seoul, Taipei and Tokyo are participating. The three-day session from November 20 to November 22 will focus on joint projects identified during the Tokyo declaration of ANMC in October 2002. The Delhi summit of ANMC will focus upon the implementation of three projects including Asia's IT Open University, Asian Arts and Crafts at Delhi haat and development of women.
