Meetings as planned

The World Bank and the International Monetary Fund should devote such time as is required to their joint meeting next month in Washington. To do anything less would be a concession to the organizers of planned protests and a bow to the threat of violence by a small band of activists. The business of both global institutions is legitimate and vital to the world economy. (Editorial)
