Delhi Health Minister Harsh Vardhan has said that the one-day health programmes have created awareness among people, who have reciprocated by coming in large numbers on the prescribed day. The Minister said this at a Press conference on Wednesday to launch a Centre for Thalassemia patients at the Guru Tegh Bahadur (GTB) Hospital. The one-day health programmes had been flayed by doctors who said that the programmes were more of melas than positive medicare for patients.
