the Ministry for petroleum and natural gas has directed all refineries to maintain stringent quality control and provide the necessary facilities to receive and re-process "off-specification" products. The ministry has said product quality should be monitored at various stages like refinery, terminal and retail outlets to ensure the release of only "on -specification" products to consumers.
