The Union Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF) has started work for the prepration of a national strategy and action plan to conserve the country's biodiversity. According to a copy of the detailed proposal, made available to Business Line, the national action plan will also include sub-plans made at the State, regional and sub-State levels.
