The Madhya Pradesh Government has decided to adopt a mission approach to implement the Foodgrain Security Action Plan in 336 villages inhabited by specially backward tribals in the Jhabua, Mandla, Bastar, Sarguja and Raipur districts. It is for the first time that such an ambitious scheme is becoming operative in tribal dominated areas for foodgrain security.
