Japan's Ministry of International Trade and Industry intends to relax as early as next spring regulations on operating small-scale independent power plants, which save small-lot users as much as 10% on energy bills. The policy shift makes its easier for companies and individuals to install micro-gas turbines, which are more fuel efficient and burn more cleanly than conventional facilities.
