The Annual Plan for Mizoram for 2006-07 has been fixed at Rs 758 crore, against Rs 685 crore for the current fiscal at a meeting between the Planning Commission Deputy Chairman, Mr Montek Singh Ahluwalia, and the Chief Minister of Mizoram, Mr Zoramthanga. The annual plan outlay includes Rs 46.85 crore of additional Central assistance for the special programmes/projects of the State.
