The unavailability of financial resources is hampering the task of promoting renewable energy technology (RET) in Nepal, member of the National Planning Commission (NPC) Ramesh Ananda Vaidya said. Inaugurating the workshop on 'Renewable Energy Subsidy Policy', jointly organised by Alternative Energy Promotion Centre (APEC) and DANIDA, in Kathmandu, Pandey stressed the need for grants and subsidies to individuals and communities for the promotion of renewable energy technology.
