The Union water resource ministry has asked the Central Ground Water Board (CGWB) to study the recharge potential of the 'baolis (step well) in Delhi and submit a report within 14 days. According to a CGWB official, the board has identified 13 stepwells, including Agrasen, Rajon and Gandhak ki baolis and four water-bodies like Neela Hauz and Hauz-e-Shamsi for their study.
