MP still waits for adequate rainfall

Bhopal: Despite the forecast of good monsoon in Madhya Pradesh, the state was yet to experience adequate rainfall, met department sources said. According to Regional Meteorological Centre, the monsoon was weakening mid-way when it was moving towards the state and it happened twice in twenty days. But a cyclonic circulation, which was originated in Bay of Bengal, might resulting in rains in the state in three to four days, the sources said. Sidhi recorded 7 cm rainfall while Malajganj and Rewa had 5 cm each. Sheopur and Rajgarh recorded 2 and 1 cm respectively. The state capital here experienced sporadic showers in some areas today. The met office predicted showers with thunders in some areas in the next 24 hours.
