The ongoing controversy over US energy major Enron-promoted Dabhol Power Company took a new turn on Sunday with Maharashtra chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh announcing that the Maharashtra pollution control board (MPCB) would conduct a thorough probe into reported violations of emission norms by DPC's plant in coastal Konkan.
