The application of magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI) technology in medical science has been the biggest step forward in the field of radiology since the use of X-ray. According to a paper presented by Dr. Praveen Gulati at the National Conference on Radiology here today, of all the available facilities, the MRI provides maximum information on congential anomalies of the brain.If this facility is not available, the Computed Tomography (CT) is preferable, the paper says.
