Noted cancer surgeon and clinical scientist, Dr. Prafulla Desai, a recepient of the Padmabhushan, has been selected to receive the coveted 1998 Mucio Athayde cancer Prize in recognition of his significant contributions to the control and treatment of cancer in India and abroad.
