In an affidavit to the Supreme Court, Maruti Udyog Limited has challenged the Environment Pollution (Prevention and Control) Authority's recomendation that registration of all diesel-fuelled passenger vehicles in the National Capital Region be banned. The Maruti affidavit said hitting new cars will not be good enough.
