Union minister of state for home affairs, Shri Prakash Jaiswal has termed the economic package demanded by the UP chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav on Thursday as a political gimmick. "Mr Mulayan Singh must know that grant of an economic pacakage to other states on the lines of Jammu and Kashmir has never been a tradition in independent India's history', Mr Jaiswal said.
