National Bank for Agriculture & Rural Development (Nabard) has sanctioned Rs 135 crore from the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) to West Bengal Rural Energy Development Corporation (WBREDC) for the State's electrification programme, Dr Sujan Chakraborty, CMD of WEREDC, said that West Bengal happened to be the first State to get a Nabard loan for electrification programme.
